On November 10, 2000, I posted the first strip from the first webcomic I did: Checkerboard Nightmare. A decade has gone by. I’ve written some thoughts at my hub site.
Also, my boutique is back online, with some new items that were not previously available! Namely, Chainsawsuit greeting cards, and the F Chords book. Check it out. Thanks!

On or around that same date, I was a fledgling Internet user, not yet a superstar, writing interactive fiction in which I was an antihero who could turn into a wolf. (I hadn't yet seen "Wolfen" and was blissfully unaware of the furry connotations of such a character.)
I think we've both come a long way since then, maybe even you moreso than me. Congratulations on all your success!
Happy Birthday CheckerBoard Nightmare!
And Happy Anniversary, Mr. Straub. Thank you for all your hard work.
Congrats on 10 years. I stumbled across Chex what seems like a lifetime ago, and was instantly hooked. Thanks for all of your hard work, and continued success!
Congratulations! Here's to another ten!
i would like to donate to you; my comic consumption is well served as it is available publicly, and i don't purchase many things in life, but i feel indebted to all the times you've made me laugh
tell me how i can make this happen, because i owe you a debt
Damn you sir! If only you hand been a Quantity Surveyor as your dying Grandmother had wished then all of this quality and art would not have happened. Your example has hindered so many in the pursuit of the lowest common denominator. Further, your relentless efforts, nigh-immaculate schedule, and conspicuous lack of filler undermine the trivialization of the so-called web-comics industry.
Congrats on 10 years!
Congratulations!
You're one my favorite web cartoonists (is that a word?).
I wish you all the best in the next ten years.
Congratulations! You're my fave.
Congratulations, Kris! I sure enjoy your work. Here's to another 10 years!
"the Space Polish Hammer" ahh good ol Ivan Putski strikes again!
You gotta love a mech that can stick it's pinky out when it drinks.
Oh, also, congrats Kris.
Today's strip was the best strip.
I feel like tea drinking giant mech Beams needs to be made into a t-sirt or at least a wallpaper or something.
